For many years, I've been a licensed New York
City tour guide. On foot, on boats, in limos, and on
double-decker buses, I've told the story of this
magnificent town to hundreds of thousands of
people from all over the world.

I've written a book -- unpublished; needs a
rewrite; it's on my list -- about the history of the
city and my adventures in the sightseeing
business. There are excerpts
here, here, and
here. Some of the illustrations are here.

If you're interested in hiring me for a private tour,
contact me anytime. I do all kinds of tours, in all
parts of Manhattan, for any size group. I also
perform a 90-minute virtual tour through the city
and its history,
400 Years in Manhattan. It's
perfect for any event in town.
